From 1980 to 2001, Eindhoven’s art venue Het Apollohuis was the place to experience the latest visual art and experimental music. Under the direction of artist Paul Panhuysen and his wife Hélène, Het Apollohuis grew into a beloved house of the arts with a worldwide reputation. In their home and at their table, they received hundreds of artists who worked on exhibitions, installations, concerts and performances. In the course of 2025, this historic building will be given a new purpose.
The visual work of Paul Panhuysen (1934-2015) will be shown in its full scope during a series of three exhibitions at Het Apollohuis: Paul Panhuysen My Home is Your Home. In line with these exhibitions at Het Apollohuis, a selection of larger artworks by Paul Panhuysen, based on mathematical counting systems and chance procedures, will be shown at KEVN from Feb. 9 – Apr 7, 2025.
The third and final show at Het Apollohuis opens on January 18 and runs until February 23. Simultaneously the fourth exhibition will take place at KEVN. Opening on Sunday February 9.
